Ø  The co-partner of VKG Cluster is the German BDZ Trade Union Confederation. The Cluster and Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2014, which agreement is intended to improve technical and scientific cooperation in the field of sustainable water management. The BDZ is a professional organization association which has been established to support the sustainable water management and its successful implementation. It is a vendor-neutral platform in area of independent decentralized waste water treatment, of which aim is in Germany, Europe and worldwide to support water management economically and ecologically in sustainable frame, ensuring the quality of these technologies in order to protect water resources as efficiently as possible. BDZ combines in a network economics, science, politics and public administration area members, connects the decentralized wastewater management skills, as well continues an exploratory and development work in this area.
BDZ provides services to national and international stakeholders, which basically can be summarized as follows:

- establishment and operation of demonstration center

- information and advice

- education and training

- research and development

Ø  The co-partner of VKG Cluster is the Institute of Water and Environmental Management from University of Debrecen, which entered into a technical cooperation agreement with Cluster in 2016.

The Institute's primary research and teaching activities in water management, environmental technology and environmental informatics applied to the specific area including:

- precision agriculture, water management of surface and groundwater, irrigation systems, research of inland water phenomena

- GIS: database management, GIS software, multispectral- close to the ground, satellite and airborne remote hyperspectral sensing

Biotechnology: biodegradation and bio-energy, bio and phytoremediation of contaminated soil, remediation technology, in laboratory and field conditions testing of organic matter biodegradation processes (biogas, composting)
